2. Great Barrier Reef. The location of the Great Barrier Reef is Queensland. It is breathtaking, blue sparkling and wide. It is 3000km wide (1800 miles). It’s the world’s most extensive and largest coral system. The Great Barrier Reef’s coastline are outer edge ribbon reefs which may grow to 25 kilometres. It’s important to scientists so that they can learn about the fish.
3. The Great Barrier Reef It’s probably the best known marine protected area in the world.
4. TASMANIAN WILDERNESS The location of the Tasmanian Wilderness is obviously in Tasmania. It is cold, bushy and fresh. It’s home to one of the deepest caves. It’s renowned for its diversity of flora. It’s important to animals, because of they need to be warm.
5. TASMANIAN WILDERNESS The Tasmanian Wilderness covers approximately 1.38 million hectares. The area was listed on the world heritage list in 1982.
6. THE OLD GREAT NORTH ROAD It is near Wisemans Ferry. It’s located in NSW (New South Wales) It’s significant, unhalted, amazing and undisturbed. The convicts amazingly built the road. It is the best surviving example of an intact convict works.
7. Hyde Park Barracks Hyde Park Barracks is the first Government built convict Barracks. Hyde Park Barracks was included in the National Heritage on 1st August 2007. Visitors can visit the place and join a guided tour. The Hyde Park Barracks fitted 15,000 male convicts. The location is in NSW.
