Blue Velvet is a 1986 film directed by David Lynch that explores the dark side of suburban America. It involves an innocent college student who discovers a severed ear and is drawn into a world of depravity, murder, and sexual deviance. The film features disturbing and grotesque scenes in a unique style, with an unsettling mood enhanced by the soundtrack.
