Illegal immigration is the process through which illegal immigrants move into a country.
These illegal immigrants do not pass the legally accepted systems before moving into another
country, and this factor causes a problem in documenting the total population in the country. In
the United States, there exists a high proportion of illegal immigrants who move into the United
States for various reasons. The department of Homeland Security in the United States estimates
that there are more than 12 million illegal immigrants in the United States as at 2020 . These

illegal immigrants move into the country in search of better jobs, better living conditions, re-
unions with their spouses, and escaping their troubled countries, especially due to the effects of
political instability in various countries around the world. This research argues on the benefits of
banning illegal immigration into the United States. This report argues that illegal immigration
into the United States leads to loss of tax revenue by the government, an increase in education
costs, an increase in terrorism levels, increased accidents and deaths, increased medical costs,
need for bilingualism, and reduces the motivation for individuals to seek legal means of
immigration into the United States.
Illegal immigration into the United States should be banned since it leads to tax revenue
losses to the state and federal governments. Illegal immigrants enter the United States illegally
and start doing some jobs in various sectors in the United States economy. The revenues earned
by these illegal immigrants are not taxed by the state and federal governments across the country
since the immigrants are not recognized. In addition, the government lacks statistics relating to
the number of these illegal immigrants and their places of work. The government also lacks

accurate statistics relating to businesses owned by illegal immigrants in the country. These
factors make illegal immigrants earn employment incomes and business incomes without being
taxed by the government. This loss of government income leads to the existence of insufficient
funds to be used by the government in instituting and completing development projects in the
country . The lack of tax revenue also denies the government money to use in recurrent

expenditures such as paying salaries to employees and funding the medical sector. Reduced
government revenue also necessitates excessive borrowing by the government, accepting the
conditions required for the government to be given funds by financiers. These debts may lead to
increased government expenses in terms of interests paid for the loans borrowed by the
government. The conditions set for the government to be given these loans may also affect the
levels of sovereignty in the United States or lead to a loss of key government assets. This
argument recognizes the roles played by illegal immigrants in creating employment opportunities
for some of the citizens in the United States. This explanation also recognizes that companies
that hire illegal immigrants benefit in terms of increased profits since they do not pay taxes for
the illegal immigrants. Therefore, these companies that hire illegal immigrants offer more
dividends to shareholders and employ more people due to the high profits. However, in
recognition of the negative effects of illegal immigration into the United States and the effects of
an increased loss of government revenue, illegal immigration into the United States should be

immigrants are increasing in the United States due to various factors, and one of the factors is a
re-union with spouses living in the United States . Therefore, these illegal immigrants give birth,

leading to an increase in the United States population and an increase in the number of illegal
immigrants in the United States. The children born of illegal immigrants must be taken through
the education system in the United States. An increase in the number of children born of illegal
immigrants leads to an increase in the children population in schools in the United States and an
increase in the necessity by the government to hire more teachers and improve the infrastructure
in schools in the country. The government's role in promoting education leads to an increase in
education costs. The government is forced to reduce the development projects and reduce the
funds committed to development in the country. Without the illegal immigrants in the country
and without the children of illegal immigrants in schools, the government would have reduced
costs incurred in facilitating education in the country. This explanation recognizes some of the
benefits that accrue to schools and students due to learning in a learning environment with high
levels of diversity. The existence of children born of illegal immigrants increases the cultural
diversity in schools and enriches the culture of the students born of Native Americans. In this

costs in the country, and therefore, illegal immigration into the United States should be banned.
In the United States, all citizens are supposed to pay for their medical expenses either using their
own means or using the various forms of medical insurance available in the country . However,

illegal immigrants in the country usually do not have the required skills to work in lucrative jobs
and earn high amounts of income. These illegal immigrants, therefore, visit healthcare facilities
without medical funds and without health insurance. The major forms of health insurance used in
the United States include Medicare and Medicaid, initiated under the affordable care act in the
year 2010. However, the affordable care act specifically excluded illegal immigrants from
obtaining the health insurance services provided under both Medicare and Medicaid. Only a
small proportion of health practitioners in the United States will turn away patients on the basis
that they cannot pay for the medical services. Therefore, these patients are treated for various
ailments, and the unpaid costs of treating the illegal immigrants are usually passed on to the
persons who legally pay and their health insurance providers. In this case, the insured people are
charged higher premiums by the health insurance companies to cater for the costs incurred in
treating individuals who do not pay for their health insurance, especially the illegal immigrants

in the United States. Considering these factors, there is a need for a tight framework to reduce
the rates of illegal immigration into the United States. This explanation considers the rationale of
the job benefits that are not paid for the illegal immigrants. As an advantage of hiring illegal
immigrants into the United States, their employers are not entitled to pay job benefits for them,
increasing the amounts of business profits generated by these companies. This increase in the
business profits is caused by the fact that employers who do not pay job benefits such as health
insurance costs for their employees who are illegal immigrants have reduced organizational
expenses and increased business profits. Therefore, these organizations have increased
opportunities to diversify their businesses and increase their respective proportions of market
share and the competitive advantage owned by these businesses. Moreover, these employers
have easy access to cheap labor from illegal immigrants. However, in recognition of the pivotal
economic sustainability roles played by illegal immigrants in the United States, the increased
healthcare costs supersede the benefits, and illegal immigrants should no longer be allowed to
stay and work in the United States.
Illegal immigrants into the United States should be banned to reduce the cases of reckless
accidents and the resultant deaths in the United States. Illegal immigrants in the United States are
no given driver's licenses since they do not possess the legal requirements to live and work in the
United States . Therefore, most states do not give a driver's license to an individual who is not

legally supposed to live in the country. However, these illegal immigrants still get a chance to
drive cars on US roads without having or with very little knowledge of the traffic rules and the
steps that a driver should take in case of an emergency while driving on the roads. Therefore,
illegal immigrants driving vehicles are more likely to cause accidents due to the lack of proper
knowledge on driving compared to other road users. In addition, these illegal immigrants are
more likely to speed illegally on the roads due to ignorance or the fear of being arrested by traffic
police in the country for driving without the required credentials. Therefore, many road accidents
occurring in the United States happen due to the inability of such ignorant road users to follow
the set traffic rules in the country. These accidents are sometimes fatal in nature, causing the
deaths of a significantly large number of people in the United States. These accidents sometimes
result in the victims' permanent disablement, making them unable to be productive before the
respective accidents. There is a need to ban these illegal immigrants in the United States and
institute measures that will eliminate the chances of these illegal immigrants migrating into the
United States. This rationale recognizes the fact that road accidents in the country are sometimes
caused by the recklessness of careless drivers who are trained effectively and have full
knowledge of the traffic rules in the country. Some of the reckless acts by qualified drivers that
may lead to an increase in road accidents in the country include driving while drunk and driving
under the influence of any form of drug that impairs judgment. Therefore, not only illegal
immigrants cause accidents and deaths in the United States. However, due to the negative effects
and the extent of damage that could be caused by dangerous driving by illegal immigrants, illegal
immigration into the United States should be banned.

Illegal immigration into the United States should be banned to reduce the prevailing rates
of domestic terrorism in the United States caused by illegal immigrants. Domestic terrorism is
currently a major threat in the country, owing to the extent of the damages caused by domestic
terrorists and the possible threats of external terrorism that domestic terrorists breed in the United
States . One of the groups of people in the United States who are associated with an increase in

the rates of domestic terrorism in the country are illegal immigrants. The ease of using illegal
immigrants in domestic terrorism is facilitated by the fact that these immigrants are
undocumented and can therefore not be traced by the regulatory authorities upon the launch of an
investigation. Therefore, domestic terrorism is perpetrated to significant levels by illegal
immigrants whose personal details are not available in the government database of individuals
living and working in the United States. Domestic terrorism is usually conducted after data is
collected by the criminals and then used to attack majorly populated places in the United States.
These attacks by terrorists usually lead to a high number of deaths and the destruction of
property valued highly in the country. Therefore, reducing the rates of inflow of illegal
immigrants into the United States is one solution to the problem of domestic terrorism in the
country. Apart from this form of terrorism, illegal immigrants may also be ideal targets to use in
cybercrime, usually aimed at illegally collecting data from individuals and government agencies
for malicious use. The rationale to associate illegal immigrants with an increase in the rates of
domestic terrorism considers the fact that terrorism in the United States is sometimes caused by

immigrants should be banned from living and working in the United States.
Illegal immigrants should not be allowed in the United States since these illegal
immigrants increase the need for bilingualism in the country, dividing the country in the future .

the country. This diversity is caused by the large variations in the demographic characteristics of
individuals living and working in the country. One aspect of the demographic variances in the
country is the language used. In the United States, English is the widely accepted language that
all people use. The proficiency levels in the language differ due to the influence of the first
language in different people and the differences in geographical backgrounds by the various
groups of people living in the United States. Therefore, lobbyists in the country continue to push
for bilingualism in the country, where the country would operate with two or more nationally
recognized languages. However, the actions of these lobbyists are fuelled by the fact that the
country's population is largely diverse, and a significant number of people have limited
proficiencies in the English language, making it difficult for them to communicate effectively.

immigrants entering the United States to reduce the need and the push for bilingualism in the
country. However, this rationale recognizes the many benefits that would accrue to the country
and the citizens due to the possible adoption of bilingualism or multilingualism. Some of the
benefits would include an improvement in national cohesion and integration levels and an
increase in the employment opportunities for individuals who will be hired to teach the second
language in schools. However, these instances can be avoided by criminalizing illegal
immigration into the country.
Illegal immigrants should be banned in the United States to increase the levels of
employment for legal citizens in the country. Illegal immigrants in the United States are majorly
characterized by a lack of skills that can enable them to work in various industries in the ever-
growing United States economy. Therefore, these illegal immigrants usually get jobs that are
low-paying and menial jobs in the country, denying legal citizens chances to engage in
productive jobs to better their future . In addition, illegal immigrants also limit the chances of the

existence of a solidified workforce in the future in the United States. Therefore, legal citizens are
denied the opportunity to create platforms that would ensure economic sustainability in the

other job opportunities to explore. This rationale recognizes the roles played by illegal
immigrants with established jobs in creating employment opportunities for the natives. Some
illegal immigrants grow their businesses to multinational levels, increasing the country's chances
of economic and environmental sustainability. However, in recognition of the extent of the
effects of unemployment caused by illegal immigrants in the country, these illegal immigrants
should be banned from living and working in the United States. In addition, the illegal
immigrants reduce the motivation by other people to seek the legal means of immigration into
the United States. The existence and an increase in the number of illegal immigrants lead to an
increase in other illegal immigrants, which could worsen the problems discussed in this report.
Therefore, it is not only effective but also sustainable to ban illegal immigrants from living and
working in the United States.
In conclusion, illegal immigrants are individuals working and living in the United States
without the required legal documentation from the department of homeland security. Illegal
immigrants are estimated to be approximately 12 million in the United States, with the highest
proportion of these illegal immigrants living in California, Texas and New York. This report
argues that illegal immigrants should be banned from living and working in the United States
owing to the negative effects caused by these illegal immigrants. The negative effects include

loss of government revenue through taxes and an increase in education costs due to an increasing
population of children born of the illegal immigrants. The illegal immigrants also lead to an
increase in the medical costs and an increase in the rates of terrorism perpetrated by these illegal
immigrants. In addition, illegal immigrants increase the accidents on American roads since they
do not have driver's license and increase the need for bilingualism in the country, especially in
the education system. Furthermore, illegal immigration reduces the motivation for individuals to
seek legal means of immigration into the United States. This report considered the benefits
accruing due to the existence of illegal immigrants in the country but conclusively, illegal
immigrants should not be allowed in the United States.
