  6. 6. You Know You Need a Social Media Plan… This allows you to strategically create and share your DOPENESS to the masses.. Think Strategically…
  7. 7. Run a Social Media Audit Review how you’re managing your online BRAND on each social network. Get Your Domain Name ASAP!!!! How each network allows for connections, collaborations and cooperation.
  8. 8. Focus and Clarity Why are you using each social network and how or if they support your business interests and goals?
  9. 9. Abandon Social Networks Are there any sites out there that maybe harmful to your Brand and Dopeness?
  10. 10. Google and Hashtag Yourself Occasionally Make sure your profile is in line with your goals both butsiness and persoanl. Check speling, gammer and even intent with quotes.
  11. 11. Performance and Dopeness Evaluation Compare your current performance to your performance a year or even two years ago. Is there growth?? Look at past dopeness • Engagements - Speaking • Collaborations • Mentoring - Diversity • Outreach – Community

  14. 14. Think about who your content is directed to. Now think who maybe following you…
  15. 15. Too many people forget that ppl have a perception of you and where your dopeness is going.
  16. 16. In three words who do ppl think you are? Is that true or your / their perception?
  17. 17. Remember your Brand is a perception of what ppl think of you not the other way around.
  18. 18. Great Content Matters not Quantity. Do you educate, or instigate? What value do you bring to your community?
  19. 19. Diversify what you have to share in creating content Know what type of content you are going to create. Diversity: Blog posts - on your own site or shared across Social Media Video - short videos or to engage and inform. Live Feeds….. Articulate
  20. 20. Decide each day you’ll publish, what content you’ll publish and, when you’ll create this content. Be consistent.
  21. 21. Promote Your Content You are your own best promoter - so get the word out about your content!
  22. 22. Social media is never, ever a one way place to be. Do it right as a two-way street.
  23. 23. Be a storyteller Everyone loves a good story. Think about how you could tell stories in an authentic way through your blog, graphics or video?
  24. 24. Don’t be scared of offending someone Have fun, have an opinion and embrace who you are!
  25. 25. It’s all about the dope experience Instead of getting caught up in crazy and unproductive stuff get serious about where your dopeness can take you.
  26. 26. Create a calendar for your dopeness • When are you speaking? • What is the group your speaking to? • Where are you speaking? • Are they dope like you? • Can they handle your dopeness?
  27. 27. Keep an Eye on Your Surroundings ● Check on current trends to take advantage of news stories. ● Watch your content analytics. ● Watch the movements of your competitors.
