2. Responsibility
To have Responsibility means to act independently and make decisions without authorization. I use
this trait because by getting my work done, whether it’s at home or at school. It’s important to have
this trait so we can finish things and people can count on us and trust us. This trait helps me find
my voice because it makes me a better leader and a more accountable person
3. Respect
Respect means to hold all people in high regard for their achievements, abilities, or qualities. I use
this trait by admiring my parents, teachers, teammates, and fellow students. I let them help me and
I listen to their ideas because they are important and deserve to be heard. This helps me find my
voice because when I respect people they respect me back and I can learn from them.
4. Trustworthiness
Trustworthiness is a trait that helps me be a good leader and a friend. Trustworthiness means that
people can trust you with tasks or promises and they know that you wouldn’t let them down. I use
trustworthiness by letting my friends and teachers know that they can count on me. This helps me
find my voice because when people trust me it lets me know that I’m good enough at something to
the point where people believe that I can do it.
5. Mrs.Timmerman
Mrs.Timmerman was my teacher from 3rd to 5th grade. All three years in that class, Mrs.Timmerman
was like a second mother to me and a lot of my fellow students. She taught me how to be a
successful leader by teaching me these traits. She would give me strategies and tips for life that I
needed. Without her I wouldn’t have found my voice.
6. My Voice
My Voice – My voice is being good at math, loving art, being a good rebounder in basketball, and
being a good friend.
I inspire others to find their voice by encouraging them to have faith in themselves and the talents
they possess.
