What
does your
startup do?
We are a mobile app based civic issues reporting platform.
We have named it CRAMAT. (Citizens' Reporting And Mapping Tool)
CRAMAT allows citizens with smartphones to easily participate in improving the safety and cleanliness of
their cities by clicking pictures of pot holes, non functional street lights and garbage in public places.
It automatically routes these complaints based on location and type to the officials responsible through
sms and email. It also updates citizen when official marks it as resolved.
It is currently available in 30 cities of India including Bangalore, Mysore, Ludhiana and Mohali and has
35000 registered users.
The app allows citizens to send fool proof evidence as a picture with location via GPS instantly to
concerned officers.
It has got a lot of appreciation including a launch for all cities of Karnataka by the Hon President of India
as part of Karnataka Mobile One.

Jaskirat is an IIT Graduate and has 15 years technology experience. He
and his team at Webrosoft are working on this product (CRAMAT) for
the last two years.

different
from the
other
startups?
Our product is about making India safer and cleaner and using the power of citizens and mobile phones
to do that.
We have already tasted success in 30 different cities and are on the verge of going pan India.
We believe our product will grow from 35000 citizens at present to more than a million in 2015 given a
huge number of citizens with smart phones and a crying need for safety and cleanliness and also given
so much buzz about smart cities, digital india, swachh bharat, women's security, road safety etc
And we are getting tremendous traction

It is transforming India by empowering
citizens of India to help and participate in
improving their surroundings and their cities.
It is getting tremendous response as can be
seen in the screenshot. For just the state of
Karnataka – more than 30000 downloads (the
band shows 10K as it changes after 50K)

Was launched for Ludhiana in March 2013 by Mayor of
Ludhiana
Was launched for Mohali in Dec 2013 by Minister of Local
Bodies Punjab.
Was launched for entire state of Karnataka by the Hon
President of India in Dec 2014
It is making a fundamental difference to very fundamental
issues of citizens across many cities of India..
