development initiative that promotes Washington, DC as the leading
community in the innovation and high-tech economy. Washington, DC
is one of the fastest-growing cities in the world for technology companies
and venture capital investment and Digital DC represents and supports
the vibrant community of local and international tech businesses that are
thriving in the District.
Digital DC Tech Opportunity Corridor
The Digital DC Tech Corridor is a designated area, spanning nearly three
miles of the 7th Street/Georgia Avenue, that has been identified to bolster
the District’s burgeoning technology sector. The corridor is situated at
the edge of a cluster of existing tech companies in Chinatown, including
Optoro, Blackboard, Social Tables, and many others. It also offers the
amenities that many early-stage tech entrepreneurs require, including
affordable office space; restaurants and bars; transportation options; and
access to highly-skilled talent.
About the Digital DC Technology Fund
The Digital DC Technology Fund is a catalytic investment fund and
customized mentorship program dedicated to promoting the success
of early and growth stage technology ventures in Washington, DC. The
pilot investment round will award up to $1 million in non-dilutive grants,
ranging from $25,000 to $250,000 to early and growth stage tech startups
that locate within the boundaries of the Digital DC Tech Opportunity
Corridor. The fund will provide grant awardees with training, access
to networks, capital, and resources they need to excel. The application
process opened Monday, June 2nd and will close Friday, June 20th.

Digital DC Tech Opportunity Corridor The Digital DC Tech Corridor is a designated area, spanning nearly three miles of the 7th Street/Georgia Avenue, that has been identified to bolster the District’s burgeoning technology sector. The corridor is situated at the edge of a cluster of existing tech companies in Chinatown, including Optoro, Blackboard, Social Tables, and many others. It also offers the amenities that many early-stage tech entrepreneurs require, including affordable office space; restaurants and bars; transportation options; and access to highly-skilled talent. About the Digital DC Technology Fund The Digital DC Technology Fund is a catalytic investment fund and customized mentorship program dedicated to promoting the success of early and growth stage technology ventures in Washington, DC. The pilot investment round will award up to $1 million in non-dilutive grants, ranging from $25,000 to $250,000 to early and growth stage tech startups that locate within the boundaries of the Digital DC Tech Opportunity Corridor. The fund will provide grant awardees with training, access to networks, capital, and resources they need to excel. The application process opened Monday, June 2nd and will close Friday, June 20th.
