9. • Percentile divides the set of data into 100 equal parts.
PERCENTILE
• Percentile scores are frequently used to report results from
national standardized test like NAT, NCAE & etc.
• The percentile of grouped data is used to characterize
values according to the percentage below them.
• Finding percentiles of a grouped data is similar to that
of finding quartiles and deciles of a grouped data.
