the field of CNC machines (machine tools) Upgradation/Retrofitting/Reconditioning. It means
Erection/Commission/Troubleshooting of CNC machines in an electrical manner. The actual
work process is Retrofitting CNC machines from old controllers to a new one. They are very

Worked as a Project Trainee Engineer in Hi TECH ENGINEERS, Bangalore from
July 2014 to July 2015.
The nature of work is listed below:
 Referring CNC machine old electrical diagrams and identifying the machine parts.
 Preparing new Input/output list based on the details collected from the Old diagram.
 Drawing sample electrical autocad drawing (Duplicate), preparing the material list and
equipment rating.
 Designing panel layout.
 Starting electrical wiring work for the machine(power and control wiring)
 Checking the Input/Output connection details and power on the machine.
 Preparing the updated autocad electrical diagram (original) and handover it to the client.
 Finally complete the project by running the trial job.
ORGANIZATION: INDO SHELL CAST PVT LTD UNIT-II, COIMBATORE
M/s. INDO SHELL CAST PVT LTD UNIT-II, Coimbatore has a dedicated machine shop
unit for machining the components produced in the foundry. Machine shop not only focus on
value addition to the product but also helps in maintaining very low rejection PPM at the
customer end. The actual work process is operating CNC TAPPING CENTER TC-R2A brother
machine. The manufacturing part here is PISTON HOUSING, a braking component used in fork
lift vehicle. The specifications of this brother machine are:
 Highly functional NC.
 BT30 spindle & column traverse.
 2-face quick table.
 14-tool magazine.
 Separate 26-tool magazine.
 Rapid traverse rate: 50 m/min (Z).
 Spindle speed: 16,000 min-1 (optional)
 Max. tapping speed: 6,000 min-1.
 Simultaneous 5 axes positioning, additional two axes control.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: (6 MONTH EXPERIENCE)
Worked as a CNC Operator (VMC) in INDO SHELL CAST PVT LTD, UNIT-II,
Malumichampatti, Coimbatore from December 2015 to May 2016.
The nature of work is listed below:
 Check the cavity of the piston housing US-14/15. Based on the cavity we have to choose
the program number.
 Fix the PISTON HOUSE part in the tool fixtures correctly.

3.  Once the cycle is completed, take the piston house part outside and measure it using AIR
GAUGES (ID & OD), and BORE DIAL (PROFILE). If the reading is ok put the piston
house in the bin. If it is any mistakes, then reject the part.
 Visually check the part, if it is ok put the piston house in the bin, if there is any mistakes
like ID & OD-overwash & unwash, PROFILE-overwash and unwash, ID & OD &
PROFILE readings shows + or – readings than the default readings then reject the part.
 The default values of ID, OD & PROFILE are:
ID- 52.002 -52.022. PISTON HOUSING
OD- 58.505-58.545.
PROFILE- 39.150-39.190.
