3. Job Profile:
MAINTENA NCE PLANNING:
Planning the preventive/corrective/shutdown work orders with duration, manpower, material, tools
and support services required for executing the job.
Planning routine, preventive, shutdown maintenance, repairs & plant modification activities
according to the maintenance strategy
Making material reservations (MR), purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO).
Attending daily /weekly meeting with Operation & Maintenance supervisors and supporting teams
to solve day today problems and necessary arrangements of work execution.
Follow up on work progress & follow up the Purchase Request for availability and timely delivery of
non-stock items, spare parts, consumables ,reviewing the stock levels
Preparing, monitoring, analyzing and issue the job progress/status reports and performance
reports
Preparing maintenance management reports including KPI reports, monthly activity report,
monthly plant/major rotary equipment availability/reliability report, monthly backlog report and
weekly forward planning bar chart/report.

Developing turnaround detail plan with focus on optimum utilization of manpower, material and
production targets.
Providing direction to shutdown planners and coordinating the shutdown related works with other
discipline (Electrical & Instrument) planners
Monitoring & controlling the execution activities (Piping and structural fabrication, Welding, NDT,
Scaffolding, Insulation, Rigging, Cleaning, Hydro jetting, Hydro testing, blasting & painting,
Refractory, Valve servicing, Civil , Electrical, Instrumentation works), update the plans on a daily
4. basis with relevant reports as required and suggest timely corrective action for achieving Shutdown
objectives.
Liaise with Safety, Operations, Maintenance, inspection and other departments to ensure the safe
and effective execution of the Shutdown Project.
Preparation and presenting detailed planning information (Gantt chart, histograms, PERT charts,
activity networks, Critical Path, milestones, WBS, Baseline schedules, Look ahead schedules,
Project progress measurement ”S” curve and progress reports, emergent work report, KPI reports)
Archives equipment Inspection reports ,repair histories, shutdown manpower & cost, materials and
analyzing the data
Preparing presentations for Shutdown execution and Close out report with lessons learned.

Review of details for jack up and submission of documents (jack location drawing,
Methodology of jack up) to ESD for review & approval.
Verifies materials and products compliance to the quality standards by executing the
specified inspection requirements as per Std API 650.
All fabrication work involving material identification, marking, cutting and welding shall
be done in accordance with this job procedure API 650. The workmanship shall be
good in every respect meeting all safety, QC & NDT requirements, with the
coordination of In-Charge-Engineer.
Coordinate with Quality control Engineer regarding of welding consumables,
Parameters, Preheating and Interpass temperature control, PWHT etc.
Review of Drawing against customers Spec & code requirements.
Before submission of technical documents, Review MTC, ITP, WPS, and PQR prior to
the commencement of fabrication activities for Replacement of Bottom Plates & shell
door sheet.
Co-ordination with client inspectors (ESD) consultants and contractor.
Inspection of all concerned activities for Plate fit up, root pass, Fillet & Final pass and
documentation for performance of hydro testing.
Perform incoming material inspection according to drawing and quality standards.
