Photographers were given rare access to North Korea and captured images of everyday life in Pyongyang. The photos show North Koreans going about normal activities like commuting, shopping, eating at restaurants, bowling, and spending time with family. Many photos also depict patriotic displays and portraits of national leaders Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il. The collection provides a glimpse into life inside the secretive country.
