 Create and submit a Plan of Work

 Spend time together
 Make a commitment to get training for officers
 Carefully evaluate strengths and weaknesses of each
member of your team
 Modify plans to play to the strength of your team

6. Communication
 Make full and frequent use of newsletter, website,
email blasts.
 Be sure to make monthly minutes and financial
reports available to the membership.
 Celebrate your successes.

7. Marketing
 Use plenty of visual reminders of which programs are
provided by the PTA.
 Let the parents know how important each person is to
the success of the PTA and the school.
 Membership is important. We care about things we
invest money in.
 Our strength comes from the partnership between
parents, students, teachers and administrators.
