                          (EI, TX, CS, CE Branches)
Duration :1½ Max. Marks: 20

Attempt any four questions. Each questions carry equal marks.

Q.-1 The top view of a line AB, 60mm long, measures 40mm. Its end A is 40mm in
front of VP and 12mm above the HP. End B is 12mm in front of the VP and is
below the HP. Draw its plan and elevation and determine its inclinations with
the HP and VP. Also locate its traces.

Q.-2. Draw projection of a pentagonal lamina of 30 mm side, is resting on H.P. on one
of its corner which is 48 mm away from V.P., such that its plane is inclined to
the H.P. at 60º. The edge opposite to the corner is parallel to the H.P. and
makes an angle of 45º with V.P.

Q-3. A square pyramid, 40 mm base sides and axis 60 mm long, has a triangular
face on the ground and the vertical plane containing the axis makes an angle of
450 with the VP. Draw its projections. When the apex is nearer to VP.

Q.-4. A Hexagonal prim of 25 mm side

Q-.5. A pentagonal prism, 30 mm base side & 50 mm axis is standing on Hp on its
base with one side of the base perpendicular to VP. It is cut by a section plane
inclined at 40º to the HP, through mid point of axis. Draw Fv, sectional Top
View and Sectional Side View. Also draw true shape of section and Development
      of surface of remaining solid.

Q.-6. A square pyramid of 30 mm base sides and 50 mm long axis is centrally placed
on the top of a cube of 50 mm long edges. Draw isometric view of the pair.

Q.-7. Attempt any four of the following.

           a. Name various software’s used for CAD?
           b. What are limitations of CAD?
           c. What are main components of CAD?
           d. Write any five edit commands used in CAD?
           e. Write any five commands used for dimensioning in CAD?
