This useful guide will give you plenty of options for sourcing textbooks, from buying and purchasing to borrowing from the library, so you can be organised for your classes and get prepared for study earlier.   2. 2. Whether it’s your first semester at uni or your last, getting your hands on the textbooks you need can be stressful. This useful guide will give you plenty of options to source the textbooks you’ll need early, so that you’re organised for your classes once semester starts.
  3. 3. GOUSQ LIBRARY RBLOCK USQCAMPUS First of all, you need to find out which textbooks you need for each subject. To do this, check your course specifications. This will list your textbooks as well as other reference books that might come in handy throughout your course. This website will link you to the USQ Bookshop’s website. You can also check which textbooks you will need to purchase by entering your course code into the textbook search of the USQ Bookshop’s website. Where to start

Students occasionally advertise books for sale on USQStudyDesk discussion groups and on social media. Don’t see what you need? Why not start your own discussion thread? If you’re studying on-campus, keep an eye out for students who advertise books for sale on various noticeboards around the university. Second-hand

Look for your textbook in the Course Readings section of the Library or ask the Help Desk for assistance. But be aware… These loans range from 3 hours to a week, so make sure you return whatever you borrow in time so other students can use it! Library
