5. CHURCH
This is our church. We go to the mass on Saturday or Sunday.

6. LARGO DA IGREJA
This is the space in front of the church, where we meet our
friends and talk , basically it is a meeting point. It has a
playground for children and a fish pond. The elderly also go
there to rest, talk and play cards.

7. OLD CHURCH
It is our old church. There are exhibitions of several things there.

8. “JARDIM” - CAFE
It is a very popular café in Mira de Aire. The adults come here to
drink coffee after lunch.

9. MARKET
There is a market in the center of Mira de Aire. It also has small
shops, a small restaurant and a shoemaker.

10. TOWN COUNCIL
It is here that people deal with issues of the town.

11. CULTURE HOUSE
The Culture House is a place where we can find theater plays,
soirees and parties. We may also access the internet and go to
the library. It is next to Town Council.

12. “PAPAGAIO” - BAR
It is a disco bar where we also go at weekends.

13. “BURACAS”
The “Buracas” are caves in the mountain and they are also
known as “Ventas do Diabo”

14. MEDICAL CENTER
People go to the medical center when something is wrong with
their health. This place was a school before.

15. CHEMIST’S
The chemist’s is next to the post office. It's where we buy
medicine.

16. SPORTS COMPLEX
This is a sports complex where we have Physical Education
lessons and where we can watch matches, futsal, for example.

17. SPORTS FIELD
It is a field where people play football matches and also do
some training.

18. SPORT FIELD– “FIANDEIRA”
It is a field where people play football with friends and many
other things.

19. “GENA” - BAR
There is where we usually go take a coffee or just to be with our
friends.

20. CAVES
They are the biggest in Portugal, they are ours. They are
beautiful and they are also part of the 7 natural wonders of
Portugal.

21. POOLS OF THE CAVES
These are our pools, where we go a lot in the summer, it has a
bar and water slides.

22. POST OFFICE
Our post office is located on the main road. There we put our
mail.

23. “HABITAT” - BAR
It is where we socialize at the weekend and listen to music.

24. FIRE STATION
This is our fire department, where our firefighters are always
ready for any accidents.

25. NURSING HOME
The nursing home is a house for the old people. There they are
treated very well.

26. “CHAMPS” - RESTAURANT
It is one of our favorite restaurants, because they sell good and
tasty pizzas!

28. NURSERY
This nursery is where mothers leave their children and go to
work.

29. PRIMARY SCHOOL NUMBER 1
We have two primary schools. There is the number 1, a bit
distant from the center of the village.

30. PRIMARY SCHOOL NUMBER 2
This is the primary school number 2 and is next to the secondary
school.

31. PREPARATORY SCHOOL
This is our preparatory school. It has a library and one sports
field. It is very distant from the center of the town too .

32. SECONDARY SCHOOL
This is our school! It is big, has two main buildings, four sport
fields and it is where we arrange school parties and events and
also where we study, obviously.
