At the project’s peak, Moody provided more than 340 expats and 270 local personnel to project sites in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, UAE, Europe and Singapore. CONSULTING & TRAINING (C&T) Moody International has brought two industry leading consulting and training companies, Randy Smith Training Solutions and The Enterprise Development Network, to create the Moody International Consulting & Training division. SIGNATURE PROJECT Design & Implement a Company-wide Behaviour-based Safety Initiative Client: Land Drilling Company Services: A contractor with over 300 rigs suffered seven fatalities in 2006. The company contacted Moody C&T and requested C&T design a customised behaviour-based safety initiative, which would then be implemented throughout the entire company. C&T conducted approximately 280 two-day workshops that all 7,000 employees attended over a six month period of time. During these six months there was an average 32% drop in the company’s incident rate versus the six months prior. Moody C&T is now the largest and most widely recognised provider of customised technical, leadership, marine and behaviour-based safety training. Additionally, Moody C&T offers a range of inspection-related courses (such as quality, welding, coating).

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION (MSC) ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System SIGNATURE PROJECT Client: Jotun A/S Services: Moody International Certification AS in Norway obtained a global contract with Jotun A/S to provide certification to all of the company’s productions sites worldwide. The company embarked on a universal certification scheme of implementing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 into their production plants, and Moody was chosen to work with Jotun A/S in accomplishing this project. Moody is also providing top management awareness training as well as internal auditor and lead auditor training to staff around the world. Primary concern is with the approach of “environmental management” – standard that demands top-level commitment to legislative compliance, pollution prevention and continual improvement OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Commitment to compliance with legislation, prevention of accidents, promotion of good health and continual improvement – OHSAS audits help to minimise risk, demonstrate diligence, gain assurance

The hotel was the first mainland China hotel in the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts group to receive this prestigious certification. This recognition shows China World Hotel’s commitment to Shangri-La’s and international food safety management requirements. Standards for product safety in food manufacturing, processing, treatment and service organisations – ensure worldwide safe food supply chains with members ranging from farms, feed producers, food manufacturers, transport operators, and retail outlets. BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) Benchmark for food safety management, scope covers all areas of product safety and legality issues – audits to assess the food safety features of retailer branded food product suppliers

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION (MSC) Moody Marine and Fishery Certification Moody Marine and Chain of Custody Fishery certification gives buyers, retailers and general consumers confidence in the origin of fish and fish products, and creates market opportunities for the seafood industry. The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standard indicates that fish and fish products have come from well managed and sustainable fisheries. Moody Marine Ltd. is the leading certifier of fisheries against the MSC standard. When a fishery is certified, this is the starting point for downstream MSC “chain of custody” certification for the handling, processing, distribution and eventual consumption by the general public. MSC chain of custody certification provides assurance of traceability of fish carrying the MSC logo back to the certified fishery. Moody Marine is an accredited MSC chain of custody certifier with clients in restaurant, retail, processing, wholesale and food service sectors.
