Orxa Energies, a startup specializing in electric motorcycles,
has unveiled its new manufacturing and battery assembly

Indonesian coal miner PT TBS Energi Utama and PT GoTo
Gojek Tokopedia on Friday launched an electric scooter plant,
as the country aims to put at least 9 million electric two-
wheelers on the road by 2030.

5. Why India’s E2W Makers Stare
at a Rough Ride Ahead
Market leader Ola Electric, which sold 28,536 units overall in
May and an average of 7,134 units per week, only sold 902 units
from June 1 to June 7. TVS Motors, the second largest in the
pecking order, sold just 190 units during the same period. It sold
20,311 units in May and an average of 5,078 units every week.
Similarly, Ather Energy, which sold 15,328 units in May and
2,409 per week sold only 87 units in the rst week of June.

6. AMO Mobility Solutions and Trigo
Electric Partner to Revolutionize Last-mile
Logistics with 10,000 Electric Bikes
AMO Mobility Solutions and Trigo Electric have recently signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlining their
agreement to procure 10,000 electric bikes from AMO Mobility
within a six-month timeframe. In addition to the supply of
electric bikes, AMO Mobility will offer comprehensive 3S
(Sales, Service, and Spares) support to Trigo Electric.

7. Oben Electric Raises INR 40 Cr in Extended
Pre-series a round for Capacity, Network Expansion
Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based EV startup, has raised INR
40 crore in an extended pre-series A round, bringing its total
pre-series A fundraise to INR 72 crore (equity & debt). The
brand has raised a total of INR 88 crore since inception which
will help increase its production capacity to 100,000 units a
year at its 3.5-acre manufacturing facility in Bengaluru and
meet the working capital requirements for distribution
expansion.
