2. EV Startup Eko Tejas Launches
Muscle Bike E-Dyroth
EV startup Ekotejas has ventured into high-speed
motorcycles by introducing rst muscle bike ‘E-Dyroth’. The
pre-booking of the bike has already started and it will be
available in the markets from December.The vehicle will be
connected with rider’s mobile phone to deliver a host of
features on the dash board such as notications, point-to-
point navigation. The dashboard establishes a seamless
connection with battery, power train and rider’s mobile phone
to enable best driving experience suitable for all types of
roads.

3. Electric Motorcycle Start-up Oben
Rorr to Begin Deliveries in Q1 2023
Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle start-up Oben Electric
has garnered over 17,000 bookings for its Rorr electric
motorcycle. Madhumita Agrawal, co-founder and CEO, Oben
Electric, conrmed that the company is sitting on a promising
order bank as it gears up to begin deliveries in the rst quarter
of 2023. The company will begin operations in nine cities
across the country starting with its home market Bengaluru,
followed by Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Surat,
Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.

4. Pune Municipal Corporation Invites Bids to
Install EV Charging Stations Across The City
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) invites bids for
commissioning, operating, and maintaining electric vehicle
charging stations across Pune for the public. PMC has
identied 92 locations including gardens, hospitals, PMC-
owned parking facilities, and auditoriums for setting up EV
charging stations. The last day to submit the bids is 13th
December 2022. All the charging stations will be
commissioned under the public-private partnership (PPP)
model.

5. Western and Central UP to Become
Auto Hub: CM Yogi
In a high-level meeting, CM Yogi instructed the ofcials that
the auto and electric vehicle industries in western and central
UP already have ample resources; they just need to be
pushed further because the demand for electric vehicles in
the auto industry is expanding quickly. As a result, the means
of employment will also be available on a large scale in this
industry. UP Government aims to grow the state's economy to
USD 1 trillion and said it'll support EV industry as well as
supporting parts.

6. Ather Energy Inaugurates First
Retail Store in Patna
EV maker Ather Energy has started retailing in Bihar with the
inauguration of its rst Experience Centre, Ather Space, in
Rukanpura, Patna. The newly launched Gen 3 of Ather 450X
and 450 Plus will be available for test rides and purchase at the
new store, inaugurated in collaboration with Alankar Energy,
the two wheeler maker said.

7. Mooving, Park+ Comes Together To Open
Over 2000 Battery Swapping Stations Across India
Mooving, a Gurugram-based battery exchange provider, has
partnered up with Park+, a parking solution platform, to open
over 2,000 stations for battery swapping in Delhi NCR,
Mumbai, and Bengaluru. By allowing users to swap out their
old batteries for newer ones in a matter of minutes, battery
swapping stations can help accelerate the adoption rate of EVs
in India.

8. Ola Electric Opens 14 New Experience
Centres in 11 Cities Across India
Ola Electric on Monday announced that it has expanded its
direct-to-consumer (D2C) footprint by opening 14 new
experience centres across 11 cities in the country. It has
opened 3 centres in Bengaluru, two in Pune and one each in
Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kota, Bhopal,
Nagpur, Ranchi and Vadodara, it said in a statement. The
company has more than 50 experience centres and aims to
open 200 by the end of this year.
