Using YouTube in the Classroom
   Do not stream YouTube videos directly from
    YouTube in the classroom. This could result
    in inappropriate content and ads being
    displayed.

   YouTube videos should be previewed and
    downloaded by teachers before class begins.

   YouTube Downloader allows users to
    download appropriate educational YouTube
    Videos very easily.
   Go to the following website, download
    and install YouTube Downloader.

   http://download.cnet.com/YouTube-Downloader/3000-2071_4-10647340.html
After downloading and installing the
 YouTube Downloader icon will be
      located on your desktop.

       Double click to open.
   Locate the YouTube video that you would
    like to use in your classroom.

   Highlight and copy the URL (website
    address) of the video that you would like
    to download.
Paste the URL into
     YouTube
   Downloader.




                     Click OK
Click
                                 Save



 Choose a location to save
the video and give it a title.
The video will
          download.




   It will save to the
location you indicated.
 Double click to open.
The video can be viewed in a media player (Quicktime,
Windows Media Player, etc.) or can be embedded into a
presentation (PowerPoint, Promethean Flipchart, etc.).
