1. Dedicated Short Range Communications for Crash-Free Driving
Have you heard of DSRC? Dedicated Short Range Communications or simply referred as DSRC
is one of the latest technology developed for safer driving. The technology is a kind of wireless

systems, whose duty is to issue a valid range of licensed bandwidth as per the order FCC 03-324.
The designated bandwidth always enables reliable and hassle free communication. You may
have the doubt why a short range means of communication was selected for this technology. This
is because of the requirement of speedy data transmission. A delay of even a millisecond in this
case may create bad decision making or wrong alert transmission which may in turn result in
heavy vehicle collapses.
