Volcano can have very big
effects on the land and
people around them when
they erupt.
Buildings are destroyed and
people are made homeless.
After an eruption heavy
winds and heavy rain follow
after.

Forever more we will have active volcanoes.
As the world's population grows, more and more people
are living in potentially dangerous volcanic areas.
South of Mexico City, has begun to come to life again,
putting a million nearby residents at risk.
An eruption begins when pressure on a magma chamber
forces magma up though the conduit and out the
volcanoes vents.
