German education is well known for its close cooperation with industry and business. Especially in engineering, natural science and business courses, students are encouraged to do internships at an early stage of their studies. An internship can become a stepping stone for a future career with a company.
To promote this idea to Taiwanese students, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Trade Office (GTO) jointly launched the First Taiwan Internship Initiative offering internships with German companies in Taiwan. For the summer months 2014, more than 20 internships are offered by 15 German companies in Taiwan. Taiwanese students who are interested in these opportunities can apply directly with these companies. Detailed information on the offered positions can be found on the following website www.daad.org.tw/zh/26182/index.html
