Symantec’s recommendations

• Solutions that support the heterogeneous data center.
• Deploy deduplication closer to the information source to
  eliminate redundant data and reduce storage and network
  costs.
• Stop buying storage by managing storage in a way that
  leverages new technology adoption
• Improve disaster recovery testing by evaluating and
  implementing testing methods which are non-disruptive.
• Deploy a single, unified platform for physical and virtual
  machine protection to simplify information management.
