 For content activation, ensure that you have installed the latest and appropriate
SAP front-end components.
 Apply SAP notes and check latest information.
 Execute basic SAP Fiori configuration.
 Set up Vertex integration(Only US solutions if you do not want vertex check note

 Configure system to connect to the System Landscape Directory of SAP NetWeaver

• Issue #1: When you are deleting the uninstalled language(se38-
/SMB/REMOVE_NOTINST_LANG_IMG , you get the below error.
• Solution: Before copying the Z solution delete the language from the Standard
solution BP_OP_ENTPR_S4HANA1611_USV3 and then make a copy of Z solution
and activate

• Issue#2:While activating the Solutions in /smb/bbi if you forgot to activate any
scope item for e.g BJ8 was missed.
• Solution: You can copy a new solution and activate selected scope items that were
missed.
• Issue#3: Error activating ecatt
• Solution: Goto details-> look for the ecatt with the error right click and restart use
the foreground process to restart and make the changes which are required (
Check for the external Variant which has failed.

• Issue#4:You see the below dumps in your system
• Solution: You have not configured the workflow or the RFC which is required is
missing there is a RFC WORKFLOW_LOCAL_XXX which handles the function of your
workflow. Check the note 1834076.

• Issue#5:You system Dumps below
• Solution: This is because your systems output control technical setup is not
correctly configured. Check the BRF config, storage config,ADS and BRF+ is
configured as per the note 2292571.
