Setting The music in this cutscene sounds dark, creepy and dramatic. The sound of the rain
adds to the creepiness of the setting and could also mean the cut scene takes place
outside.
The music sounds orchestrated using violins and a
little bit of piano. This creates the dark
atmosphere in the cut scene.
Mood The sound of the rain shows the weather has a dark tranquillity to it which reflects
the mood of the cutscene as dark, something bad is happening.
The violin helps to create the dark, creepy
atmosphere. The sound of rain also reflects that
something bad is happening. Usually bad
weather matches the dark scene.
Game genre The sounds suggest the game to be fantasy/adventure due to the dark tone of the
