  3. Communication is the process of passing information from a source to a receiver
  4. It facilitates Feedback: Effective Communication provides an opportunity to your audience to give feedback so that the purpose of communication is achieved. Stronger Decision Making It is common practice in all business communication that managers have to spend as much as 80% of their time communicating. Such as preparing advance proposals listening to employees grievance. Reading reports, interviews. Thus effective communication plays a key role in stronger decision making policies. Quicker Problem Solving Effective communication in organization helps in solving the problem of employees and other work related problems quickly. It improves Customer Relation Effective communication plays a very important role in establishing good relations with customers. If the relation between organization and its clients remain courteous, the organization will achieve its objectives without any problem.
  5.  Communication promotes motivation by informing and clarifying the employees about the task to be done, the manner they are performing the task, and how to improve their performance if it is not up to the mark.  Communication is a source of information to the organizational members for decision-making process as it helps identifying and assessing alternative course of actions.  Communication also plays a crucial role in altering individual’s attitudes, i.e., a well informed individual will have better attitude than a less-informed individual. Organizational magazines, journals, meetings and various other forms of oral and written communication help in moulding employee’s attitudes.  Communication also helps in socializing. In today's life the only presence of another individual fosters communication. It is also said that one cannot survive without communication.
  6.  As discussed earlier, communication also assists in controlling process. It helps controlling organizational member’s behavior in various ways. There are various levels of hierarchy and certain principles and guidelines that employees must follow in an organization. They must comply with organizational policies, perform their job role efficiently and communicate any work problem and grievance to their superiors. Thus, communication helps in controlling function of management.
  7.  REDUCES CONFLICT: The primary reason for the occurrence of conflict is poor or misunderstood communication. Learning effective communication skills helps a person to be an effective communicator.  HELPS IN ACHIEVING GOALS: Effective communication is very broad concept and helps a person to get more than what he or she expects out of life. This makes him capable of communicating thoughts in such a way that people understand him instantly.  STRENGTHENS RELATIONSHIP: Effective communication helps people to understand what they want and expect from each other. This helps to build strong personal and business relationship between them.  IMPROVES JOB SATISFACTION: Efficient communication among employees and boss helps to improve job satisfaction among both the ends. Employees feel that their presence makes difference to the organization. Bosses feels that their orders and requests are being cared for.
  8.  HELPS TO SAVE TIME: With an increase in every field of lifetime has become a crucial factor. This is true both in business as well as personal lives of people. Another important thing is an appropriate choice of communication for transferring information. Phone, fax, e-mail, and face-to-face conversation are few available choices. An appropriate selection can help a company in saving a lot of time and money.  Easy promotion: Effective communicators have greater chances of being promoted in their jobs.
