2. Absolute quantities:
are named numbers and
depending on the nature
of the phenomenon or
process can have different
units of measurement:
natural; conditionally
natural; labor; valuable

3. Absolute indicators play an important role
in the system of generalizing statistical
indicators. At the same time, they cannot
give a sufficiently complete picture of the
studied phenomenon. Therefore, there is a
need to calculate other generalizing
indicators — relative and average values, the
basis for which are absolute values.

4. Relative values :​

are generalizing
quantitative indicators
that express the ratio of
compared absolute
values.

5. The logical formula of a relative
value is the following ordinary
fraction:
Relative value = Value of
comparison / Base of comparison

6. Depending on the values ​
​
of the numerator
and denominator of this fraction, the
relative values ​
​
can be expressed in the
following forms: coefficients (fractions),
percentages (%), per mille (%o), prodecimal
(%00), when 1, 100, 1000, 10000 units.
