Marking the fifth Decoded Fashion
New York Summit, Decoded Beauty launched
and opened up the conversation to the most
disruptive and innovative technologies shaping the
new era of beauty.
Discussion highlights included:
• JuE Wong of Elizabeth Arden delving into the
mistakes that the beauty industry is making in
the digital era – “It’s not about selling, it’s
about having a community that believe
in us; don’t think of a brand, think of
having a solution that you need to
serve a customer.”
• Kevin Gould of Beautycon Media speaking
about Gen Z and their relationship with beauty –
“Gen Z want a consistent story, a real
story. They want a brand to present a
real narrative grounded in reality. The
culture of perfection does not exist for
them.”
