Job Description1 Interns will have to be a volunteer for projects organized by the
IMCD(International Movement of Community Development)
All projects are with the purpose of social welfare.
Job Description2 Intern will have to participate for project planning and
preparation. They have to prepare the project proposals and
product sheets(Periodically).Also have to work closely with
creative project management team to execute the project
(Weekly) and actively involve with each and every phase of
the project.

They have to get involved with fund raising and partnership
raising events of the project. They have to lead and organize the
crowd funding initiatives with project team(Periodically) and
raise local partnerships. Interns will have to study about
potential linkages with foreign iNGOs and regular follow up
with potential and existing partners.
Act as a project member of two donation events. Enhance the
social media(face book and Twitter) reach of the projects and
IMCDs of the portal and project virtually (social media,
website) Content writing on behalf of the project to promote the
IMCD and their projects.
Job Description5 If the intern has experience in voluntary projects and team
working it is highly useful
Job Description6 Bring your novel ideas to the team and been actively involved in
the activities. A report on the project experience at the final day
of his/her internship should be submitted. (Periodically)

Successfully plan ,organize and execute two events with in their
internship period.

(1)Accommodation will be Provided.
(2) An intern have to pay 100USD once they agreed to join this
internship. This payment covers ICX processes such as Intern
Reception, Intern Servicing and others.
(3) Interns will be picked up from airport on arrival and all
transportation costs need to be bare by interns including airport
pick up cost.

skills and marketing : Experience in working with local
volunteers in Sri Lanka, experience to work in a team with
creative, passionate people. Improvement in Decision making,
Punctuality, Flexibility, Socializing, Thinking out of box,
Prioritizing the work, Listening to others ideas..
Through this internship, EP can get greater experience: proper
execution of the project which will improve their skills and help
them to understand their own potential. Opportunities to interact
with different culture: EP will also get the opportunity of
meeting the local AIESECers in their events after arrival.
Additional information a
potential candidate may
require for the Internship
Town & distance from capital which is considered as Colombo
to Homagama (office) would be about 1 1/2 hours by public
transport- The office is situated in close proximity to the
Homagama town. We will help EPs to use their own desired
transport methods to come to Colombo as and when required.
