Description
To be assistant in the English classes, where he/she will apply communicative strategies to
develop listening and speaking skills.
To develop teaching techniques in the classroom like storytelling, dictogloss, role plays, reading
literature, to strengthen the living of the English language between students. These indications will
be given before starting the project. It is also required some proposals.
To make investigative research to store in the teachers’ pedagogical tools bank and to be applied,
and then to write reports about what it is done in classes.
To motivate students and to create a confidence environment in the learning process and English
practice.
To be assistant in cultural activities and to support young projects around the city.
To make and to participate in Reading promoting with educational institutes around the city.

Learning points
The intern will obtain experience in teaching and intercultural learning. Also he/she will have the
opportunity to improve or to learn Spanish and will obtain the capability of team-working and
educational investigation.

1. Attendance at training offered by AIESEC Cúcuta.
2. Spaces integration with members of AIESEC.
Expected results
It is expected from the intern to have good human relationships, to create and to keep a good
environment where it is possible for the students to be confident at English learning and to be
encouraged to work with different kind of people (children, adults) and their different ways to learn.
Required preparation
It is required from the intern to have some experience in teaching or social projects related to
pedagogical activities, to have a B2 English level minimum, to be a creative person who is capable
to propose teaching techniques and to solve some situations if they happen.

2. Departure info
At the time the project ends you will have the information to leave the country.

It is mandatory for all the AIESEC in Colombia ́s trainees to come to the country with an

Visa & work permit info
1. If you are in match process, you will have to send some documents, and you will be given a
deadline for it. In order to start the VISA process your passport must be VALID.
2. Regarding the Colombian law, you must get the Foreign ID Card in order to be registered in
Colombia during your internship.The cost is a unique payment of $156.300 COP ($75 USD) and
must be paid by the trainee.
3. In the event of having to renew your VISA, you will pay the cost of it.
