The 13th IAAF World Championships in Athletics
was an international athletics competition that was held in Daegu, South Korea.
It started on 27 August 2011 and finished on 4 September 2011.
The United States topped the medal standings in the competition with 25
(12 gold, 8 silver, and 5 bronze).
But, South Korea didn’t get medal.
This championship was criticized, because of insufficient process.

7. 6. Collapse of the Libya of Gaddafi government
On 1 September 1969, a small group of military officers led by 27-year-old army officer
Muammar Gaddafi staged a coup d'état against King Idris, launching the Libyan Revolution.
Gaddafi was referred to as the "Brother Leader and Guide of the Revolution" in government statements
and the official Libyan press.
By 22 August 2011, rebel fighters had entered Tripoli and occupied Green
Square, which they renamed Martyrs' Square in honour of those who died.

Libya's interim governing authority. It postponed the formation of a caretaker, or interim government

on 20 October 2011.

10. 3. 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
In July 2011 Pyeongchang was chosen by the International Olympic Committee
to host the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Pyeongchang's bid for 2018 was accepted after two previous failed attempts for 2010 and 2014.
It will be the first Winter Games in Asia since the 1998 games in Nagano, Japan.
For 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang,
many people make an effort, in many ways.

His death was mourned by people around the world.
12. 1. Earthquake in Japan
The 2011 Eastern Japan Great Earthquake Disaster was a magnitude 9.0 undersea megathrust
earthquake off the coast of Japan that occurred at 14:46 on Friday, 11 March 2011 with Tsunami.
It was the most powerful known earthquake ever to have hit Japan, and one of the five most
powerful earthquakes in the world overall since modern record-keeping began in 1900.

The earthquake triggered powerful tsunami waves,
which reached heights of up to 40.5 meters
in Miyako in Tohoku's Iwate Prefecture,
and which in the Sendai area travelled
up to 10 km inland.
In addition to loss of life and destruction of infrastructure,
the tsunami caused a number of nuclear accidents,
primarily the ongoing level 7 meltdowns at three reactors
in the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant complex,
and the associated evacuation zones affecting
