DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
PepsiCo EDW environment already running in DB2 platform. We are moved to ‘lift and shift’
migration methodology to be used to re-platform the data warehouse environment from DB2 Data
Warehouse to Teradata Data Warehouse. The approach to be involved a one-to-one mapping of
the DB2 data warehouse design to the new Teradata data warehouse platform. As much as
possible, names and attributes for all database tables, columns, and other database objects to be
preserved to minimize impact to data integration and BI application layer.
Responsibilities
 Analysis on existing ETL processes and Code base and identify impacted objects and
object lineage.
 Involved the DB2 related object migrated to Teradata object changes to be done.
