To attract our audience we looked at many rom-com’s and followed the typical forms and conventions of any other rom-com film.  We stereotyped most teenagers so that it would gain our audiences attention and show what some teenagers life's are like through their own stereotyped personal lifestyles which usually gets are target audience wanting to know more. We specifically chose a rom-com due to our research into genres and audience research, we found out that a little humour would make the film more attention seeking as if it were to be just a romance genre it would not be as attention grabbing to our target audience in today’s society, so we added some humour to it and followed the typical plots for a rom-com.
