I graduated in 2015 with highest honor as Master Strategic Communication at the University of Antwerp. Currently, I’m part of MIOS, a research group within the Department of Communication Studies at University of Antwerp. I am very interested in native advertising, a spectrum of online advertising formats that are designed to blend in with the surrounded context. For example, a sponsored news article, or sponsored posts in Facebook’s news feed.
My research focuses on consumers' processing and evaluations of these advertisements, as well as the consequences for the platforms on which they are published.
