DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) is the highest award within Toastmasters International. How to achieve it in three years (or less)? This presentation gives suggestions for how one can plan the steps toward achieving the coveted award.

• Served as Club Officer, and attended Officer Training
• Served as District Officer: Area/Div. Governor, District

 Min 45 speeches

 First Year: CC, CL
• Deliver 10 speeches
• Club Officer + attend Training
• Start ACB and ALB
 Second Year: ACB, ALB, ALS
• Deliver 14 speeches (4 are pre-prepared)
• Area Governor + attend Training
• Complete Leadership Project
• Club Sponsor/Mentor/Coach
(may take longer than one year)
 Third Year: Complete ACS, ACG, DTM
Example: club meets weekly = 50 meetings/yr
