1. Question 6: What have you learnt
about technologies from the
process of constructing this
product?
By Shope Adejare
2. Sony JVC Camera
We filmed our opening
sequence using this basic
camera but it was ok
because it still managed to
achieve all the shots that
we needed and the editing
is what really matters.
4. Mac
We began editing our
video using the Mac but
because the Mac’s at our
school are not fast and
efficient enough, it
became very time
consuming to just edit a
few clips. This is when
we decided to move on
to Sony Vegas (next
slide)…
5. Sony Vegas
This is the editing
software that we used
as we didn’t want to
use iMovie because
we wouldn’t be able
to edit at our homes
as none of us had a
Mac at home however
I have a windows 8
laptop which would
allow me to use Sony
Vegas Pro.
6. Cable Ties (not technological but was
used)
To achieve smooth and steady
panning shots when Jack was
running, we had to use cable ties
to tie the tripod on to a bike and
film like that. There is also proof of
this shown in my ‘behind the
scenes’ post.
7. Fuji film FinPix S1600 camera (for the
location shots)
For our location shots
we wanted to achieve
good clarity in our
location shots. With my
Fujifilm camera we
were able to do this
because it is 14
megapixel and has a
30x super wide lens.
Along with many other
various settings.
