2. Brecon National Park (Wales)
Opening sequence
Brecon national park contains all sorts of various attractions that link closely into nature which is a theme I
want to showcase in my documentary. Brecon national park was established in 1957 and was one of the first
ten national parks to be created in Britain. Brecon intentions was to protect the beautiful, rough and
breathtaking landscapes considered a priceless national asset in wales. Therefore this was a key location to
film and include in my documentary. Additionally it has also given me a strong idea of basing my overall
documentary topics on different national parks around the country as well as the world.
3. Brecon caves
Dan-yr-Ogof
The caves are one of the key exciting places I am going to visit in the national parks as it links
into the key historic aspect that I want to convey during my making of the documentary to my
audiences. The caves are over 23 billion years old and are one to the historic bones of
generations of different living things that have spent their last days there. These living creations
range from ancient dinosaurs to ancient tribes.
The castle dates back to the 13th centaury. All sorts of historic treasures have been found in the
location of the Castle such as romans coins and skeletons of prehistoric people who occupied
the hilltop centuries earlier. Therefore, due to the high rise in history this location provides, I am
intrigued to film its stunning locations. The castle is on top of a massive hill which means it will
also provide me with a stunning view which will give me a variety of long and Ariel shots which
will help me achieve higher marks for my documentary, as the more variety shots I have, the
better my documentary will look.

7. My Overall Aim
Overall I have chosen Spain as the main topic of my documentary as this is a
country filled with culture that links closely to animals. For instance, in Snalucar De
Barameda (the place I will be staying in) there are annual horse races held on the
beach which is a main attraction to tourists. Therefore filming these extraordinary
events whilst talking about Donana National Park will explain the importance of
animals to culture and our lives.
