Summary
• To confidently save a goal in soccer the keeper must maintain
visual – body connection with the striker up until ball contact.
• Just before ball contact the keeper is initialising movement
and tracking the ball immediately.
• To confidently score – a striker must register their target
during pre – shot thinking before moving to the stance so as
not to alert the keeper.
• Their approach to strike should be similar for all strike
direction & power variants – again to not alert the keeper.
