4. SEO Idiot #1 Big Words/Acronyms SEO
• Talks about htmls, cms’s, .txts, GA, SEMs, and
etceteras and suddenly diverts to cuddly
animals.
5. SEO Idiot #2 Sparkling, White Hat SEO
• Some people have a moral high horse that is
10 years old. Even white hat practices evolve.
6. SEO Idiot #3 Conversion Expert Turned SEO
• They say, “Your conversion rate is up 100%. Last
month you only one conversion. Now you’ve got
two!” If only you had enough traffic first.
7. SEO Idiot #4 Self-Proclaimed Social Media Expert
• They have a great tactic yet Social is only one
piece of the SEO pie.
8. SEO Idiot #5 IT Guy
• Everyone has “heard that SEO is [fill your
favorite trending strategy].” You can’t build an
SEO strategy on what they have “heard.”
9. SEO Idiot #6 Bad Grammar Offshore SEO
• Uhm….just read it.
10. SEO Idiot #7 Black Hat SEO
• If you’re still working in terms of white hat vs.
black hat you probably got murdered by a
giant panda (or penguin).
