Count von Tiele-Winckler - Castle in the
pre-war owner Moszna - have been
transferred to the first 25 mares (race full
English blood). The surviving mares came
mainly from private farms of the Polish
estates conducted before World War II on
the territory of Greater Poland in the east
and the farm buildings of the palace in
Moszna rescued mares where there were
ideal conditions for breeding.
Currently Moszna Stud is known in the country
and abroad as a center for breeding sports
horses. Horses born in Moszna succeeded
on the racetrack in Poland, Czech Republic,
Italy and England, with victory in over 200
races, including the roll-call 5 times in the
most important race of the season -
"DERBY"in Poland and two times in the
same prize abroad and victory in Europe's
largest race hurdle race - "Great
Pardubicka" - in 2009.
