Write a reflection paper addressing questions related to assumptions about the nature of
reality, what knowledge is and how it is formed, and the value of knowledge. This is
generally called one’s worldview or philosophical paradigm. Recognizing, understanding,
and being able to identify your own worldview is an essential component in articulating
your beliefs about college students and how you facilitate students’ learning, growth, and
development.Your reflection should be guided by the reading from the Abes (2016) New
Directions in Student Services chapter, “Situating paradigms in student development
theory” (provided to you as a reading in Module 2). Your reflection should address the
