12. MSN/Education Capstone
The capstone projects are application projects, meaning students should apply the material from
their curriculum to a meaningful project related to nursing or health care education. Projects can
range from developing/delivering education material/programming to research on educational
needs for a population.
• An example: MSN/Ed students are being asked to work with the nursing department faculty as
we begin to work on a DNP program.
Students typically will complete projects important to their employer or a population the student is
interested in. Students will have a lot of discretion in choosing where they complete capstone
projects. The project must meet curriculum goals and needs to be meaningful to both students and
the people with whom they work. Students will NOT need to be on campus for capstone project
work.

What is a living case study?
The living case study provides students with the unique opportunity to apply knowledge and skills
gained during the MBA curriculum toward an organizational development project within a real
organization. This way, you graduate with the experience and confidence you need to succeed as
an advanced-level MBA professional.
Students also have the option to participate in an international business summit.
The International Business Summit is a four-day networking trip where students engage in an
international business conference environment with experiential learning activities and peers and
instructors from their program.
• This opportunity is tied into the IBS607 International Business course.

May want to emphasize that you do not need to be a Christian to join the university – SAU accepts all faiths, and people of other religions have expressed that they enjoy SAU’s approach to ethical instruction.
We are committed to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and affirm the importance of learning grounded in God’s Creation and in His uniquely authoritative revelation through Scripture.
We are committed to a liberal arts education involving the pursuit of all truth as God’s truth, the development of Christian character, and the living integration of faith and learning.

May want to discuss why this is so important: Accreditation is a great way to ensure you will graduate with the skills you’ll need to be prepared to work in your field. Employers respect accredited degrees more than nonaccredited degrees. That’s why it’s imperative that your university offers accredited programs. After all, you’re going to school to improve your career.
