Brand’s Name:
 Levi's, is a privately held American Clothing company
known worldwide for its Levi's brand of denimjeans.
 It was founded in 1853 when Levi Strauss came from
Buttenheim, Bavaria, to San Francisco, California to
open a west coast branch of his brothers' New York
dry goods business.
 In 1873, Levi Strauss and tailor Jacob Davis received
a U.S. patent to make the first riveted men's work
pants out of denim: the first blue jeans.
 The company briefly experimented (in the 1970s)
with a public stock listing, but remains owned and
controlled by descendants and relatives of Levi
Strauss's four nephews. The company's corporate
headquarters is located at Levi's Plazain San
Francisco.[3]
 Levi's marketing style has often made use of
old recordings of popular music in television
commercials, ranging from traditional pop to
punk rock.
 Notable examples include Ben E King("Stand By
Me"), Percy Sledge ("When a Man Loves a
Woman"), Eddie Cochran("C'mon
Everybody!"), Marc Bolan ("20th Century
Boy"), Screamin'Jay Hawkins ("Heart Attack &
Vine"), The Clash("Should I Stay or Should I)
Go?").
 levis Jeans are a brand that have been around for
ages, and yet they remain as popular today as they
ever were. A lot of different brands have come and
gone, but this brand is one that has shown great
staying power.
 Levi's jeans have remained popular is because they
have a lot of different cuts. You don't just have one
or two denim cuts to choose from, you have many so
that you can find the cut that is most comfortable
and flatters your body the best. Other jeans have a
couple of cuts but nothing like the extensive
selection that Levi's is always offering, updating, and
adjusting.

new fit concept that captures female artists
in a uniquely feminine vision, celebrating the
Levi’s brand and its unquestionable denim
authority.
 Top of Mind: 40% listed Levi’s first, the next
nearest was Seven Jeans, listed by 8% 63%
listed Levi’s in the top 3 brands of jeans.
The Financial Times as saying, “Levi's is
basically a troubled company. Although their
name is hallowed in American history, few
people these days wear Levi's jeans”
I recommend levis to increase its ads in social
networking sites like facebook etc.
I also recommend to make its ads more
attractive to the youth.
