2. pulley The light switch is a pulley because you are pulling on the string to turn the lights on The blind is a pulley because you pull on the string to make the blind go up. The light switch was found on the ceiling in my room and also the blinds was found hanging from the window

3. screw The jar is consider a screw because we have to screw the jar cover from the container. The screw is a screw because of the spiral twist on the screw

4. Incline plane The side walk A ramp This is found outside This is found at a disable person’s house The side walk is an incline plane because the side walk requires less input force than pushing the object straight on the ground A ramp is an incline plane because it also requires less force and is much easier for the disable to use rather than climbing the stairs.

5. lever This is a broom This is like a screwdriver These are found in the house The broom is consider a lever because the broom is the fulcrum and the person using the broom is applying the force which cause the broom to turn on a fulcrum. As you handle the screwdriver the head of the screwdriver turns on around the point where the screwdriver meet the nail

6. Wheel and axle The wheels on the bus are called wheel and axle because the wheel is a lever which connects to a shaft which is the axle. When the wheel turns the axle turns too. This is a toy bus This Is an office chair The office chair is consider a wheel and axle because the wheel is a lever which connects to shaft which is the axle.

7. wedge This is a knife This is a fork A fork is consider as a wedge because it forces to cut food apart. The knife is consider as a wedge because it forces to break apart of to cut hard things that the hands cant cut
