How Can You Create Effective Facebook Ads
Facebook Ads are perhaps the most powerful way to reach
relevant customers. With so many different type of people
from all kind of communities socializing there, you, as a
marketer, know that you too will find your share of interest.
On the other hand, with such an immense population on
Facebook, the competition among marketers has gone up like
never before. You will be amazed to know that more than 90%
of marketers are on Facebook to advertise their brands. That’s
a huge percentage, right?
How do you stand out in that crowd, with your advertisement
looking distinct and important? When the concept of
advertising on Facebook was new, it had a lot of organic
reach, i.e, it was quite easy to reach out to the exact segment
of customers you desired, but today with so many tech savvy
marketers on board, the path doesn’t look easy.
Advertising on Facebook is no more a cakewalk. You need to
be very sure about your product positioning, the audience
you target and the kind of ad format you go for. Apart from
these, there might be other factors too which might make or
spoil your ‘Ad- venture’ completely.
You need to focus on making ads that will allure the
customers and convince them well to make a purchase. The
images, graphics, videos that you use to create the ad, play a

Marketers should take this point quite seriously. You may say
that this is the root of the entire ad campaign and where you

when looking to promote a brand, you may reach out to a
larger audience but while looking to increase traffic on your

most suited to it in terms of the design. You can look at the

3. Create audience specific ads
This is probably the other half of ‘Targeting Audience’ point.
Different people, different choices. So, why the same ad for
every single person? Make sure that you develop customer
specific ads.
If you are a shoe retailer, you might have shoes for males,
females, teenagers and kids. You create an ad that promotes
all the line of products. Have you thought that why will a
teenager be interested for kids’ section of shoes or why will a
women be interested in the male section of shoes and so on?
Won’t work out that way.
Facebook gives you that flexibility where you can effortlessly
find out the number of males, females or teenagers that are
there and might want to buy your product. So, take up that

The graphic images, pictures and videos that you use must
match the content of the advertisement. They must be relevant
