KNU recruits students who have a firm background in
statistics, linear algebra, calculus, differential equations
and probability. The applicants have to be graduates
with a fair understanding of statistics, economics, and

11. Admission Criteria
• This program is equivalent to EQF (European
Qualifications Framework) Level 8 - Doctorate Level
• Students have to submit a proposal for detailed
research. This proposal has to outline the intended
topic of research along with proposed methodology
and objectives.
12. This research topic has to be the choice of the
candidate alone and it will get provisionally approved
by the Degree Committee before the applicant is
accepted to the Course. Applicants have to consider
their topic carefully for their Doctorate research. The
topic has to cover the background of the research;
special mention has to be done of the analysis that has
to be adopted and the possible conclusions that have
to be reached by the research.
