PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The COPS Analytics Solution takes offline channel and customer data
from the Local Market and Group Technology sources and online data from Adobe Site Catalyst
and produces a single view of channel activity to provide cross-channel analytics capabilities.
Local Markets will feed offline channel and customer data into the COPS Standard Interface.
Group Technology will feed channel data into the COPS Standard Interface. Adobe Site Catalyst
will provide online data by means of an out of the box site catalyst extract specifically designed
to feed data into Adobe Workbench. The data will be loaded into the COPS staging area where it
will be validated and processed. The primary processing will be concerned with enriching the
channel data with the single customer view provided by the Local Market. This single view of the
customer provides a point in time snapshot of the customer status and profile that can be used to
understand the type of customer interacting with each channel. Data will be extracted from the
COPS staging area to flat files which will then be loaded into Adobe Workbench to build the
analytic dataset. The analytic dataset will then be available for use by the end user by means of
the Adobe Workbench client tool.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: EBU has invested in outsourcing of Customer Value Management
(CVM) solutions to InBetween. For approximately 5 years one of the capability pillars of EBU CVM
is formed by Unica Campaign 6.4. Earlier Campaign Design was done by VF and Campaign
implementation, Campaign execution and fulfilment was done by InBetween, in the future
Campaign Design, Campaign implementation and Campaign execution will be done by VF and
fulfilment by InBetween
The project is divided into two drops
1. Drop-1: Storing data from all source systems in DDL and send them to ATLAS server.
2. Drop-2: Loading data to ATLAS DB or LS DB as is the case.
EBU-CVM will receive files from 7 different source systems. For few of the sources data file will be
accompanied by metadata files and for few (which are going towards LS strip) there will be no
metadata file. Similarly not all the fields will be having KPI files. The metadata will therefore
contain information about the data file: size, version, record count, etc. This data will also be used
to confirm the file transmission. If the meta- data has been received, the data transmission is
completed and processing can start. The KPIs are determined by Vodafone for the sources
wherever appropriate

Role: Test Lead.
Team Size: 10
ETL Testing Tool Used: Abinitio(GDE version 3.1.2.2), SoapUI 4.5.1, Altova XMLspy, ALM 11.0
Database Used: Teradata 13.10
Environ me n t : UNIX
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: M2M Light which will be built on Unify has certain requirements mainly
involves the M2M number changes, migration and provisioning for numbers starting with 097. All
existing Vodafone NL customers with M2M Price plan in Gemini will be migrated from 06 to 097
number ranges. The 097 numbers would essentially be 14 digits. Starting from 01 Dec 2013
every new and extended M2M connection for every customer must be provided with 097 number
range. Based on the number of M2M connections the migration should be completed by Mar or
latest Dec 2013.
On the other hand another new product model VOGE which will be built on Unify is about
a hosted IP based telephony capability which is designed specifically for its Multi National
Corporate customers. This includes a range of services specifically tailored to suit each customers
own telephony requirements and infrastructure. It includes the following services.
• Fixed/ Mobile convergence
• Hosted IVR and Contact Centre capability
• Hosted/ Managed IP Telephony/ PBX
• Unified communications
Because for every new product or proposition which Vodafone launches, there might be
new EPC/OMS order structure. Not only overall XML structure will change but changes may
happen at component / attribute level along with changes in position hierarchy of the
components in the XML. For example information like component names and attribute names for
same type of entity will be different (ex. Mobile seat in OneNet and Primary MSISDN in VOGE) and
will be located in completely different position than in the OneNet XML.

Feb 2004 – Oct 2004
Project 1: New Features Unicode Compliant to Pre-Release Quark XPress 7.0
Role: Member Unicode R & D Team.
Team Size: 20
Language Used: C & C ++.
Environ me n t : .Net , Metrowerks Code Warrier 9.3, Windows & Mac OS.
Methodologies: Object Oriented Concept.
Tool Used: Win CVS, Pivotal and Quality Centre 9.2
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: QuarkXPress is the leading layout and design software for publishers
worldwide. Its advanced features provide support throughout the publishing process, from
detailed page layout and graphic design through pre-press and production. It is the premier tool
for all those involved in the publishing process. This Project aims at making all the UI related
libraries used by XPress to be Unicode Compliant. Unicode is the universal standard to use and
support international languages characters like Japanese, Korean and other East Asian languages.
The present UI libraries support MBCS and ASCII. Unicode compliance for the UI controls like edit
box, list box, and static text implies that they can have Unicode input (input in any language that
OS supports).
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coding and Unit Testing.
• Doing White Box Testing.
• Participating in various rounds of regression test.
• Fixing bug and resolving issues. Also involved in different project related document
preparation.
• Involved in weekly status meeting with the client.
Project 2: Migra tion of Long File Name (Feature of Unicode)
Role: Member Unicode R & D Team.
Team Size: 20
Language Used: C & C ++.
Environ me n t : .Net , Metrowerks Code Warrier 9.3, Windows & Mac OS.
Methodologies: Object Oriented Concept.
Testing Tool Used: Win CVS, Pivotal and Quality Centre 9.2
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Long Filename is a feature, which is new in Quark XPress 7.0. It allows
user to have filenames that are longer than 31 characters on Mac OS. Mac OS 9.2 supported
maximum 31 characters for file name. The file specification record (FSSpec) provided by OS has
name field as 64 bytes long, of which only 32 (31 characters + size byte) are used to represent a
file name. So, before XPress6.0, due to this limitation of the Mac OS, XPress would give abnormal
results if user enters a Long File Name (more than 31 characters) while saving a document. In
XPress 6.0, XFileInfoRef reference has been introduced which allows user to create files of name
Page 13
length to 255 characters. The main objective of having XFileInfoRef is to enable XPress to create
& open files with long names. Also, it should not show file names with hash code anywhere in the
application UI’s. A hash code is appended to the name field of FSSpec that represents a file with
long name. (i.e. the file name is greater than 31 characters.). This hash code is unique to the
machine on which file resides.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coding and Unit Testing.
• Doing White Box Testing.
• Participating in various rounds of regression test.
• Fixing bug and resolving issues. Also involved in different project related document
preparation.
• Involved in weekly status meeting with the client.

Local Markets will feed offline channel and customer data into the COPS Standard Interface. Group Technology will feed channel data into the COPS Standard Interface. Adobe Site Catalyst will provide online data by means of an out of the box site catalyst extract specifically designed to feed data into Adobe Workbench. The data will be loaded into the COPS staging area where it will be validated and processed. The primary processing will be concerned with enriching the channel data with the single customer view provided by the Local Market. This single view of the customer provides a point in time snapshot of the customer status and profile that can be used to understand the type of customer interacting with each channel. Data will be extracted from the COPS staging area to flat files which will then be loaded into Adobe Workbench to build the analytic dataset. The analytic dataset will then be available for use by the end user by means of the Adobe Workbench client tool. For approximately 5 years one of the capability pillars of EBU CVM is formed by Unica Campaign 6.4. Earlier Campaign Design was done by VF and Campaign implementation, Campaign execution and fulfilment was done by InBetween, in the future Campaign Design, Campaign implementation and Campaign execution will be done by VF and fulfilment by InBetween The project is divided into two drops 1. Drop-1: Storing data from all source systems in DDL and send them to ATLAS server. 2. Drop-2: Loading data to ATLAS DB or LS DB as is the case. EBU-CVM will receive files from 7 different source systems. For few of the sources data file will be accompanied by metadata files and for few (which are going towards LS strip) there will be no metadata file. Similarly not all the fields will be having KPI files. The metadata will therefore contain information about the data file: size, version, record count, etc. This data will also be used to confirm the file transmission. If the meta- data has been received, the data transmission is completed and processing can start. The KPIs are determined by Vodafone for the sources wherever appropriate ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with Test Manager to plan and deliver the high quality products • Define/Review of test strategy . • Involved in test progress tracking, test report prepara tio n, defect root cause analysis, create/upda te test traceabilit y mat rix • Creation of Test Metrics like defect slippage, test case effectiveness, Test effort variance, test schedule variance • Interacted actively with Business Analysts and Data Modelers on Mapping documents and Design process for various Sources and Targets • Test coordination with different stakeholders and delivery, inciden ts review , participa tio n in daily and weekly status meetin gs, test exit repor ts and signoffs , environment review and acceptance. • Need to carry out Performance and Accuracy testing in large customer database. All existing Vodafone NL customers with M2M Price plan in Gemini will be migrated from 06 to 097 number ranges. The 097 numbers would essentially be 14 digits. Starting from 01 Dec 2013 every new and extended M2M connection for every customer must be provided with 097 number range. Based on the number of M2M connections the migration should be completed by Mar or latest Dec 2013. On the other hand another new product model VOGE which will be built on Unify is about a hosted IP based telephony capability which is designed specifically for its Multi National Corporate customers. This includes a range of services specifically tailored to suit each customers own telephony requirements and infrastructure. It includes the following services. • Fixed/ Mobile convergence • Hosted IVR and Contact Centre capability • Hosted/ Managed IP Telephony/ PBX • Unified communications Because for every new product or proposition which Vodafone launches, there might be new EPC/OMS order structure. Not only overall XML structure will change but changes may happen at component / attribute level along with changes in position hierarchy of the components in the XML. For example information like component names and attribute names for same type of entity will be different (ex. Mobile seat in OneNet and Primary MSISDN in VOGE) and will be located in completely different position than in the OneNet XML. Software Engineer, Quark Media House India Pvt Ltd , Mohali(Chandigarh) Feb 2004 – Oct 2004 Project 1: New Features Unicode Compliant to Pre-Release Quark XPress 7.0 Role: Member Unicode R & D Team. Team Size: 20 Language Used: C & C ++. Environ me n t : .Net , Metrowerks Code Warrier 9.3, Windows & Mac OS. Methodologies: Object Oriented Concept. Tool Used: Win CVS, Pivotal and Quality Centre 9.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: QuarkXPress is the leading layout and design software for publishers worldwide. Its advanced features provide support throughout the publishing process, from detailed page layout and graphic design through pre-press and production. It is the premier tool for all those involved in the publishing process. This Project aims at making all the UI related libraries used by XPress to be Unicode Compliant. Unicode is the universal standard to use and support international languages characters like Japanese, Korean and other East Asian languages. The present UI libraries support MBCS and ASCII. Unicode compliance for the UI controls like edit box, list box, and static text implies that they can have Unicode input (input in any language that OS supports). ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coding and Unit Testing. • Doing White Box Testing. • Participating in various rounds of regression test. • Fixing bug and resolving issues. Also involved in different project related document preparation. • Involved in weekly status meeting with the client. Project 2: Migra tion of Long File Name (Feature of Unicode) Role: Member Unicode R & D Team. Team Size: 20 Language Used: C & C ++. Environ me n t : .Net , Metrowerks Code Warrier 9.3, Windows & Mac OS. Methodologies: Object Oriented Concept. Testing Tool Used: Win CVS, Pivotal and Quality Centre 9.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Long Filename is a feature, which is new in Quark XPress 7.0. It allows user to have filenames that are longer than 31 characters on Mac OS. Mac OS 9.2 supported maximum 31 characters for file name. The file specification record (FSSpec) provided by OS has name field as 64 bytes long, of which only 32 (31 characters + size byte) are used to represent a file name. So, before XPress6.0, due to this limitation of the Mac OS, XPress would give abnormal results if user enters a Long File Name (more than 31 characters) while saving a document. In XPress 6.0, XFileInfoRef reference has been introduced which allows user to create files of name
  • 13. Page 13 length to 255 characters. The main objective of having XFileInfoRef is to enable XPress to create & open files with long names. Also, it should not show file names with hash code anywhere in the application UI’s. A hash code is appended to the name field of FSSpec that represents a file with long name. (i.e. the file name is greater than 31 characters.). This hash code is unique to the machine on which file resides. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coding and Unit Testing. • Doing White Box Testing. • Participating in various rounds of regression test. • Fixing bug and resolving issues.
