1. Engineering Your Future
If we take a good India at the graduates of India – we will find 1 in every five graduates is an
engineer. The question which comes to the mind is: are so many engineers required in India?
Or, are these guys employable?
The kind of dynamism we are living in and when the world has become a global village – the
question which now needs to be asked is the following: how many engineers are required in the
world and what sort of skill set is most appropriate for them?
Research by several groups of professors reveal very clearly that the world indeed requires
highly specialized engineers with ample project management, teamwork, superior
communication skills along with extremely sound technical know-how.
It can’t be denied that India is a growing economy hence the growth is present in all sectors i.e.
manufacturing, textile, construction, aerospace, IT technology to name a few.
In the fast paced growth oriented country like India where aspirations are sky rocketing and the
number of high-caliber graduates are almost never ending, one needs to focus on developing
himself or herself into a complete individual with sound technical competency along with
exceptional soft skills. And this can only be achieved when you join a progressive, forward-
thinking, next generation engineering school.
My pan-India visits to meet prospective and current students, faculty members and parents
have allowed me in discovering several leading colleges which are providing cutting-edge
curriculum in electronics engineering. The most interesting time was spent in Maharashtra
where I visited top institutions in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik. These top engineering
colleges in Nashik especially are ranked and respected. I had an opportunity to talk in great
detail with the current students and faculty members plus the support staffs. With international
quality infrastructure, doctorate faculty members who have extensive research expertise,
numerous patents, selective and high quality student body in the classroom and very
importantly – a curriculum designed in consultation with Fortune 500 firm’s requirements and
keeping in mind the streak of innovative thinking, technical & leadership capabilities have been
brought into the limelight. This top engineering college of Nashik is redefining the way
teaching and learning is currently offered in India. What I also really liked is the huge focus and
commitment on building strong links with recruiters which has resulted in paid internships and
hundred percent placement of graduating students with India’s well known employers.
I invite and encourage students to wake-up and start exploring the options for them. With the
change in the world, they need to go for cutting edge programs in order to be industry-ready.
Remember that what worked yesterday will not work today because times have just changed
very rapidly.
So, get up and get moving towards getting yourself admitted at the best engineering colleges
in Maharashtra and other states to make your dream a reality.
Welcome aboard once again. Wish you all the very best.
