Hi I am Shoaib Burq, an OpenStreetMap enthusiast and contributor. I am also a founding member of the Aust-NZ OSGeo Chapter. This talk is going to give you a very brief overview of how the open street map (osm) community organised themselves across the planet to help the first responders on the ground in Haiti and helped save lives.
