What We Do
Developed in partnership with the National Press
Club, Test ed offers workshops and seminars that
provide journalists with the cyber security skills and
tools needed for secure communication.
Beyond awareness, workshop attendees receive
“hands-on-keyboard” training, side-by-side
technical assistance, and a practical context for
applying these skills and tools as a professional
journalist. Attendees learn practical a li ation
of tools such as PGP encryption, TOR, and TAILS --
the same tools used by Edward Snowden to
communicate with Glenn Greenwald and Laura
Poitras.
